Meetings
The Web Site SIG meets at 6:15 p.m. (doors close
at 6:30 p.m.) the third Thursday of each month together with the HTML
SIG at The State newspaper.
This group builds the club's website while
learning new skills.

Roadmap for 2004
The roadmap for 2004 was presented at the meeting
January 15th, 2004. A copy of the presentation used to discuss and
settle on a roadmap can be found here

2004 will be the year that we involve the members
in maintaining and developing the web site. You don't have to be a
web development expert - but you may become one...

Past Meetings
A summary of the Feb. 19 meeting, made by an
attendee, follows.
- The need for having critical input from various others separate from the
HTML SIG was discussed. The New Users SIG and other SIGs that meet with the Main
Club meeting will be asked for volunteers to provide a periodic review via
e-mail to the address given above.
- Artistic improvement of the Main Page through unique ideas was discussed. As
the Club's specialists in this area, the Digital Imaging SIG will be asked to
provide suggestions for possible new images and backgrounds, etc. Some sort of a
collage, maybe?
- Further thought to the Main Page resulted in a proposed new structure to be
tried.
- A "Test Site" will be set up so that site changes can be reviewed before
being included on the actual site.
- We will need to check the validity of all the site's links.
