NEW LOCATION!!!
We have been holding off on several programs that require an Internet
connection, and it is finally time to get some of those programs on the
schedule. Our search for alternative meeting locations has
brought us to the Capital Senior Center at
Maxcy
Gregg Park
1650 Park Circle, Columbia, SC
(if the link above doesn't work in your browser, click
here for directions)
or check the directions
on the Capital Senior Center website
Directions from Assembly Street: Take Blossom Street towards Five
Points. At the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Pickens, then
immediately to the left in front of the tall apartment building.
This left turn takes you over the sidewalk - it is not a "street" per
se. Follow the drive to the parking lot at the end and you will
see the center.

"fallback" location when LT is not available. Members are invited
to attend.
Come see
our new location - Finally we have Internet
again - after 3 (?) years
in a "dry" location! Bring your laptop and make the SIGs really
sing!
Buster White moves to the VP position and Nancy Johnson takes over as
PR
director. Thanks and welcome.
While we post APCUG news articles, APCUG is posting some of our own
Charlie
Paschal's material.

Web Site News
We are working on a New Web site:
It is tough
to keep a web site up to date when everything has to go through one
"webmaster", and that person (me) is too busy - or too lazy, or just
not
available...! To help avoid this type of bottleneck,
organizations often turn to a "Content Management" driven web site
where several people can update different parts of the site without
being a web designer. This is not a new trend - but the news is
that we are turning to one. Check out our "live prototype" at
NEW WEB SITE TEST ...
