Visual Basic SIG Return to SIG List

Meetings

The VB SIG meets the last Tuesday of each month at the Main branch of the Richland County Public Library, usually in the Bank of America room.

The Visual Basic SIG held a programming course during the spring of 2004.  It consisted of a series of eight sessions at a new computer lab facility located at the Capital Senior Center at Maxcy Gregg Park. The computer language will be Visual Basic 6 and the course will be taught by Tore Bostrup, a programming professional.

Files and notes from the regular VBSIG meetings.

The presentations are PowerPoint slide shows.  If you don't have Microsoft PowerPoint on your system, you can download and install the PowerPoint Viewer from the Microsoft web site:

Viewers for PowerPoint 2003

On a tip from member John Guyeska, the PowerPoint Viewer 2003 prints the slideshow with background and colors, while the PowerPoint 97 viewer prints B&W/Grayscale without the background.  Most of the slide shows are currently in the PowerPoint 97/2000 format, but that may change.

If you want to try the PowerPoint 97 viewer version, try
